After a baby’s first birthday, the rate of growth physically begins to slow down. That doesn’t mean that the child himself slows down. The baby is now a toddler and is very active. Toddlers grow quickly and learn by touching, seeing, and exploring the world around them. Our program offers them these experiences in a warm, nurturing and safe environment. Our teachers create strong, loving bonds with each of their students making them feel secure and safe, which enables them to learn best. Everything in the environment is child-sized, at their eye level, and toys are in easy reach of little hands so that they can choose activities and materials independently according to their interest and developmental needs. The teachers also utilize the Frog Street curriculum, which offers differentiated instruction options to meet the needs of all learners in the class. All of the activities that this curriculum offers are designed with intention and purpose to move children ahead in their development.
